Yuwaddy Center is YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) Myanmar’s social enterprise. We provide training and employment for underprivileged women in the post conflict areas of Thandaungyi, Karen State. Their creation and products are being showcased in Yuwaddy Center. It is a combination of a café, handicraft shop and youth community center.
OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
CAFE
Our coffee is rich, smooth, and balanced. We make it a point to source local beans of the highest quality. And we serve various ethnic cuisines of Myanmar.
CRAFTS
Our handicrafts are created by ethnic ladies in traditional styles . Unique design and eco- friendliness are the emphases of those artisans.
COMMUNITY CENTER
Yuwaddy Center can accommodate 30 guests (seated) or 50 (standing). We are located in the heart of historic Yangon in the vicinity of heritage buildings such as the Secretariat and Yangon YWCA.
COOKING CLASSES
Come experience the authentic flavours, aromas, ingredients and methods of ethnic cuisines in a warm and welcoming environment.
